Free accessibility check

Enter a website and we'll test its homepage against the WCAG rules — the same engine the paid plans use. No account, no card.

Checks one page — your homepage. Results are cached for a day, so re-checking the same site returns the same result until it expires.

What automated scanning can and can't do

Automated testing finds a portion of accessibility problems — a lot of real ones, cheaply and repeatedly. It does not find all of them, and no scanner can confirm a site is compliant. Whether alt text is accurate, or whether a page makes sense to a screen-reader user, still needs a person. This finds the automatable half and gives you the evidence trail for the rest. It does not make you compliant, and we won't tell you it does.

One page per check, a few checks per visitor, and a daily cap overall — the free checker shares a scanner with paying customers and always yields to them, so it can be briefly unavailable. If it says it's busy, it means exactly that. See the plans for continuous monitoring.
