Accessibility scanning and monitoring

Find the accessibility issues on your site, and watch them stay fixed

Check a page now — no account, no card. Then, if it's useful, keep checking it on a schedule, so a regression shows up in a report instead of in a complaint.

One page per check, a few checks per visitor, and a daily cap overall — the free checker shares a scanner with paying customers and always yields to them, so it can be briefly unavailable.

Checks one page — your homepage. Results are cached for a day, so re-checking the same site returns the same result until it expires.

What a scanner can settle, and what it can't

Machine-checkable

Contrast ratios, missing alternative text, unlabelled controls, broken heading order, keyboard traps — the failures with an unambiguous right answer. Every one is graded by severity:

  • critical
  • serious
  • moderate
  • minor

Needs a person

Whether alternative text is accurate. Whether a form makes sense read aloud. Whether a page can be completed with a keyboard alone. Automated testing finds some accessibility problems, cheaply and repeatedly — not all of them.

So reports mark those separately instead of counting them as passes. No scanner can confirm a site is compliant, and this one won't tell you it has.

What you get by keeping it running

Scheduled re-checks, without remembering to run one
Add a site and it goes on a schedule. Turn on email and a report lands when each scan finishes. Your allowance covers your whole page count weekly, or a smaller set daily — the plans page shows both numbers for each tier.
History, so you can tell whether it's working
A score and issue count per page over time, and a comparison between any two scans — which is how you find the deploy that introduced something.
A report you can hand to someone else
Findings grouped by rule with remediation guidance, exportable as a printable report or CSV — per page, so a developer knows where to go.

Try it, then monitor it

Check any single page free, right here, with no account. When you want the whole site watched rather than one page checked, plans start at $19 a month — 50 pages and 300 page-scans every 30 days, enough for 50 pages checked weekly. Your first scan starts as soon as you add a site.
